Parkesburg Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault

PARKESBURG, PA — The Parkesburg Borough Police Department has arrested 28-year-old Juan Jose Astudillo Fuentes on charges of aggravated assault and related offenses following a March 1 incident on South Church Street.

Authorities were called to the 200 block of South Church Street to investigate a suspicious condition when they were allegedly assaulted by Astudillo Fuentes. The suspect also reportedly assaulted emergency medical personnel who had been dispatched to the scene.

After his arrest, Astudillo Fuentes was transported to Chester County Prison, where he remains in custody. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing in District Court 15-3-07.

Officials continue to remind the public that all charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
