NEW CASTLE, DE — Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a series of vehicle and construction site thefts that occurred across the county earlier this month.
Between April 10 and April 17, 2025, authorities responded to multiple reports of stolen tools, batteries, and materials. Incidents were reported at a business on Brookside Avenue as well as a construction site on McGovern Road in Hockessin. A white Audi was reportedly seen near the locations during the time of the thefts, helping investigators link the incidents.
Detectives identified the suspects as 40-year-old Daniel Quesenberry and 45-year-old Tamara O’Grady through extensive investigative work. Both individuals were taken into custody on April 23, 2025, at a motel on Pulaski Highway.
Quesenberry faces an extensive list of charges, including three felony counts of third-degree burglary, two felony counts of second-degree conspiracy, and several other misdemeanor offenses, ranging from theft under $1,500 to resisting arrest. He was also charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled substance (Tier 1). After his arraignment, Quesenberry was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution with bail set at $26,500 secured.
O’Grady was charged with one felony count of third-degree burglary, one felony count of second-degree conspiracy, and several misdemeanor offenses, including theft under $1,500 and criminal trespassing. She was arraigned and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
Detectives continue to investigate whether the suspects may be connected to additional thefts in the area. Authorities are urging community members with relevant information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
Police are expected to release further updates as their investigation progresses, with the goal of bringing closure to affected property owners and possibly preventing future thefts in the area.
