Oxford Police Seek Information on 2020 Forgery Suspect

OXFORD, PA — The Oxford Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Johnathon Floyd, 35, of Baltimore, Maryland, in connection with a forgery incident that occurred in 2020.

On January 22, 2020, officers were dispatched to the Coatesville Savings Bank at 126 South Third Street following a report of a suspect attempting to cash a forged check. By the time officers arrived, Floyd had already fled the scene. He allegedly tried to cash the fraudulent check using his valid Maryland Identification Card.

The police have described Floyd as a Black male, standing 5′ 7″ tall and weighing approximately 137 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

The charges against Floyd include forgery, access device fraud, and unauthorized use of an access device.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about this incident or Floyd’s whereabouts to contact the Oxford Police at 610-268-3171.

As with all criminal cases, these charges are allegations. Floyd is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
