OXFORD, PA — A Nottingham resident is facing drug-related charges following his arrest by Oxford Police in late December, after officers found suspected controlled substances and paraphernalia during a routine well-being check.
The incident occurred on December 28, 2024, when Oxford Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Whitehall Way at 8:33 a.m. to investigate a report of a man loitering in a hallway. Officers identified the individual as Bradley Arroyo, 23, and discovered that he had an outstanding arrest warrant issued in neighboring Lancaster County.
After detaining Arroyo, a search conducted during the arrest uncovered multiple suspected narcotics along with drug paraphernalia. The substances were sent to the Pennsylvania State Police laboratory for further analysis to confirm their nature.
Authorities reported that lab results received on March 22, 2025, confirmed that the substances were indeed controlled substances. Based on these findings, Arroyo now faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
Police have confirmed that Arroyo’s preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place on April 29, 2025, at the Oxford District Court.
Officials emphasized that Arroyo, like all defendants, is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
