Masked Duo Arrested After Shocking Armed Robbery Outside Wilmington Liquor Store

WILMINGTON, DEDelaware State Police have announced the arrests of two men in connection with an alleged armed robbery outside a Wilmington liquor store.

Authorities say the incident occurred shortly before midnight on January 10, 2025, in the parking lot of Hi-Way Inn Liquors on Governor Printz Boulevard. According to investigators, the victim was approached by two masked individuals as he returned to his vehicle. The suspects allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his belongings. The victim complied, but the suspects reportedly returned his property before fleeing in a dark-colored SUV.

Through investigative efforts, detectives identified the suspects as 32-year-old Eric McDuffie of New Castle and 27-year-old Jamir Graham of Wilmington. Both men were taken into custody on January 16, 2025.

McDuffie and Graham now face multiple charges, including first-degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, and second-degree conspiracy. Each suspect was arraigned and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $44,000 secured bond.

Police remind the public that all charges remain allegations, and the suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
