WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man has been arrested in connection with an alleged armed robbery that occurred late last year, authorities announced.
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in the 1200 block of Elm Street on December 24, 2024, around 9:15 p.m. The case was assigned to Detective Jessica Gledhill of the Wilmington Police Criminal Investigations Division. Following a detailed investigation, Detective Gledhill identified 30-year-old Tyerin Anderson as a suspect and secured arrest warrants.
On January 15, 2025, officers executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street and apprehended Anderson without incident. He has been charged with three counts of first-degree robbery.
Anderson was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and is currently being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $60,000 secured bail.
Authorities remind the public that all charges remain allegations, and Anderson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
