WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police are actively investigating a shooting incident that left a man injured on Saturday afternoon. Authorities were dispatched to the 1100 block of Davis Street on December 28, 2024, at approximately 12:46 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 28-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.

Investigators are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The case remains open, and additional information may emerge as the investigation progresses.
