Man Arrested on Drug and Gun Charges in Westtown Township

WEST CHESTER, PA — Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department announced the arrest of Stephen Petit for gun and drug charges.

According to the criminal complaint, on Wednesday at 12:00 PM, during a routine patrol in the 1000 block of Wilmington Pike in Westtown Township Chester County, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. During this stop, an investigation was conducted which revealed the presence of drugs and firearms within the vehicle. This prompted the arrest of the occupant. The operator, who was later identified as Stephen Pettit, was charged with various offenses including two counts of persons not to possess firearms, as well as possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver and drug paraphernalia among other charges.

The officers were able to locate a significant amount of methamphetamines along with two firearms inside the vehicle used by Stephen Pettit which ultimately led to his arrest and Pettit being charged with various offenses related to drugs and firearms violations under Pennsylvania law.

An occupant of the vehicle, identified as Angelia Wilson, was additionally charged with one count of possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver and drug paraphernalia among other charges.
