LANDEBERG, PA — A late-night dispute in Southern Chester County escalated into physical violence, leading to the arrest of Fernando Hernandez-Mercado, 31, of Landenberg, Pennsylvania. The incident, which unfolded on Thursday, April 4, 2024, around 10:30 p.m., prompted a swift response from the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department.

Authorities were called to the scene on the 100 block of Starr Road in Landenberg following reports of a fight involving several individuals. Upon their arrival, officers encountered a male victim who claimed that Hernandez-Mercado had physically assaulted him amid a verbal altercation.
