Kennett Square Woman Charged with Alleged Threats Against Minors

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A Kennett Square woman has been charged with making alleged threats during a phone call involving minors.

On December 9, 2024, at approximately 12:51 p.m., local police responded to the 200 block of East Linden Street after receiving a report of threatening statements made over the phone. Authorities allege that 18-year-old Judith Garcia-Gutierrez joined a call with juveniles and threatened to harm them.

Following interviews and further investigation, charges of terroristic threats and harassment were filed against Garcia-Gutierrez in District Court 15-3-04 on December 15, 2024.

The matter remains under judicial review, with a preliminary hearing pending.

Authorities emphasize that all charges are allegations, and Garcia-Gutierrez is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
