Kennett Square Police Arrest 19-Year-Old in Connection with Parking Garage Vandalism

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — On October 30, 2023, the Kennett Square Police Department responded to a report of institutional vandalism at the parking garage located at 100 E. Linden Street in Kennett Square Borough. Upon arrival, officers discovered a broken pane of glass on the top floor of the structure.

The reporting party had alerted the police after noticing the damage. Utilizing video surveillance footage from the location, officers were able to identify a suspect. The footage allegedly showed a black male subject, later identified as 19-year-old Kharee Brunson, throwing an unknown object through the window, breaking the glass.

Following the investigation, a criminal complaint was completed for Brunson on charges of institutional vandalism and related offenses. The complaint was filed at District Court 15-3-04 on November 3, 2023.

The charges against Brunson include one count of institutional vandalism, one count of criminal mischief, and one count of open lewdness. Brunson was arrested on November 4, 2023. This case is filed under police report ID# KS-23-010439.
