WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police have arrested a Kennett Square man on theft-related charges following an incident that occurred in a business on N. High Street.
On January 19, at noon, officers responded to a report of a theft that had taken place earlier in the day at a business located in the 100 block of N. High Street. Following an investigation into the alleged crime, police apprehended 38-year-old Dashaun Nichols.
Nichols was taken into custody without incident and transported to the local station where he was processed on allegations of theft. A preliminary hearing is pending at District Court 15-01-01.
As with all criminal cases, the details may change as further information becomes available. It is important to remember that an arrest, a criminal complaint, or a charge does not imply guilt. Nichols, like all defendants, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
