KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Authorities in Kennett Square have filed allegations against two male juveniles after a February incident involving the discovery of contraband, including THC vape devices and a weapon.
The incident unfolded on February 27, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., when officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East South Street following reports of suspicious behavior involving two male juveniles. Upon engaging with the individuals, police confiscated 10 THC vape devices, a pocketknife, and additional contraband.
According to law enforcement, one of the juveniles was issued a non-traffic citation for disorderly conduct after contraband was found in his possession. The second juvenile faces more serious allegations. After further investigation, law enforcement completed a juvenile allegation against him on charges that include possession of a weapon, possession with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officials confirmed that the juvenile allegation was subsequently filed with Chester County Juvenile Probation on April 8, 2025. No further details about the juveniles’ identities or the ongoing legal proceedings have been disclosed, consistent with the legal protections afforded to minors in such cases.
Police emphasized that all involved parties are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
