Investigation Continues into 2020 Armed Robbery at Valley View Hardware

AVONDALE, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police from Avondale Station are still investigating an armed robbery that took place several years ago at Valley View Hardware in Lower Oxford Township, Chester County.

On November 28, 2020, two individuals allegedly attempted to rob the store clerk by brandishing a firearm and demanding cash from the register. However, the clerk did not comply with their instructions, prompting the suspects to flee the scene. They were last seen heading north on Township Line Road on dirt bikes.

Authorities continue to seek information that may help in their ongoing investigation. They urge anyone who might have details about the incident or the identities of the alleged robbers to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Avondale Station at (610) 268-2022.
