PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are appealing for public help in identifying multiple suspects involved in a commercial strong-arm robbery that occurred on February 20, 2025, in the 300 block of Ruscomb Street. The incident, reported at approximately 3 p.m., took place within a local convenience store and involved the alleged assault of the store’s owner, as well as the theft of cash from the register.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division, the trouble began when a female customer refused to pay for her food order and left the store. The complainant, who was working at the time, followed her outside and retrieved the unpaid item. Shortly after, the woman returned with several men, reportedly from the neighborhood, leading to a physical altercation.
Police allege that one male suspect attacked the complainant, while the female suspect joined in. During the commotion, another male suspect is said to have gone behind the counter to take all the money from the cash register. The group of suspects fled the store immediately after the incident.
Descriptions of the suspects have been provided. The first suspect is described as a Black female with a medium build, last seen wearing all black. The second suspect is a tall Black male with a medium build, and the third suspect is a tall, slim Black male with braided hair. Police state these individuals are believed to live near the 300 block of Ruscomb Street and were known to frequent the store.
