Folcroft Man Arrested for Alleged Assault in Kennett Square

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Daniel Rizzolo, a 42-year-old man from Folcroft, PA, was arrested and charged with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct following an alleged altercation in Kennett Square Borough. The incident is reported to have occurred on the evening of December 3, 2023.

According to the Kennett Square Police Department, Rizzolo allegedly struck a female on the right side of her face during the altercation, causing minor swelling. The incident took place around 5:27 PM in the 300 block of S. Broad Street in Kennett Square Borough.

Following the incident, Rizzolo was taken into custody by Kennett Square Police. He was then transported to Central Booking at Chester County Prison where he was processed and held for arraignment.

The case against Rizzolo is currently pending a preliminary hearing. As is standard procedure, the details of the incident and the evidence against Rizzolo will be presented before a judge who will determine if there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.

The Kennett Square Police Department stresses that an arrest or a criminal complaint does not constitute a declaration of guilt. All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
