Fatal Shooting in Wilmington Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington authorities are currently investigating a fatal shooting that unfolded on October 31, 2024, in the 1300 block of East 28th Street, leaving one young man dead and three others injured.

The incident was reported around 12:35 p.m., prompting a swift response from local law enforcement. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple gunshot victims at the scene. A 22-year-old male was transported to the hospital in critical condition; however, he tragically succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, a 34-year-old male remains in critical condition, while two other individuals, aged 21 and 20, were hospitalized and are reported to be in stable condition.
