PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect connected to an alleged robbery that occurred earlier this month at Brothers Deli in North Philadelphia.
The Central Detective Division reports that the incident took place on November 7, 2024, at approximately 12:58 a.m. According to investigators, an individual entered the deli, located at 1422 West York Street, and pepper-sprayed the clerk before allegedly brandishing a firearm and demanding cash. The suspect left the scene with a bucket containing around $30 in quarters.
The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing black clothing, a mask, and light-colored shoes at the time of the incident. Authorities are actively investigating the case and have released video footage of the individual in question in the hopes of generating leads.
The public is urged not to approach this individual if seen but instead to contact 911 immediately. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by dialing 215.686.TIPS (8477) or texting the same number.
