NEWARK, DE — The New Castle County Division of Police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man allegedly involved in a fraud case within the Christina Green neighborhood.
The incident unfolded on Monday, March 17, 2025, at approximately 9:54 a.m., when a suspect was reportedly captured on surveillance footage outside of a residence on the 800 block of North Silversmith Lane. According to authorities, the individual arrived in a green minivan and attempted to obscure his face as he appeared to look for a package on the victim’s porch.
Later that day, the victim received a concerning notification. They were billed by a cell phone provider for an account opened fraudulently in their name. The account reportedly included the purchase of a new phone, which had been delivered to the victim’s address on the same day the suspect was seen.
