PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities in Philadelphia are requesting assistance from the public in identifying two men allegedly involved in an assault outside a business on South 13th Street earlier this year.
The incident occurred on March 9, 2025, at approximately 3:35 a.m. According to the Philadelphia Police Department‘s Central Detective Division, the altercation began when the victim was forcibly removed from an establishment on the 100 block of South 13th Street by two unidentified men believed to be associated with the business.
Following the removal, tensions escalated as a female employee reportedly struck one of the victim’s relatives in the face. A short time later, as the victim was walking away, he was approached from behind near the same area and allegedly attacked by two men. Police say one of the suspects punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. The victim claims the attackers were the same individuals who had escorted him out of the establishment earlier.
No weapons were reportedly involved in the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities have released still photographs of the suspects and are urging citizens with information to come forward. “If you see these suspects, do not approach. Contact 911 immediately,” officials stated.
