Do You Know Them? Philadelphia Police on the Hunt After Brutal Center City Assault

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities in Philadelphia are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying individuals involved in an alleged assault on January 1, 2025, in the city’s Center City area. The incident occurred at approximately 2:28 a.m. on the 100 block of North 12th Street.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, a 25-year-old male victim was engaged in an argument with several unknown individuals before being assaulted. The suspects reportedly punched the victim and tackled him to the ground. The victim was later transported to Jefferson Hospital, where he received treatment for cuts to his face and a sprained right ankle.

Police have released still images of the suspects in hopes of identifying them and advancing their investigation. Officials urge anyone who recognizes the individuals or has information about the incident to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093 or 215-686-3094. Tips can also be provided anonymously by dialing 215.686.TIPS (8477) or texting the same number.

The police emphasize that all tips will be kept confidential. They also remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
