Disturbance Call Leads to Arrest of Oxford Woman on Active Warrant

OXFORD, PA — Authorities arrested a local woman on November 19, 2024, after responding to a report of a disturbance in the 200 block of South Third Street.

The Oxford Police Department was dispatched to the location at approximately 2:02 p.m. following a complaint about an individual allegedly refusing to leave the property despite requests from the owner. Officers en route received a description of the individual involved in the incident.

Upon arrival, officers encountered 56-year-old Laurie Price of Oxford, who was identified as the subject of an active arrest warrant issued by the Coatesville Police Department. Price was taken into custody at the scene without incident.

She was subsequently transported to the Oxford Police Station, where custody was transferred to constables for her transport to Chester County Prison.

Law enforcement reminds the public that all suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Further details about the active warrant were not disclosed.
