WEST GROVE, PA — The Southern Chester County Regional Police Department is actively seeking public assistance in identifying two individuals linked to an alleged attempted break-in at the West Grove Smoke Shop, located at 113 E. Evergreen Street. The incident reportedly occurred in the early morning hours of September 18, 2024, around 12:03 AM.

Authorities responded to the scene later that day, at approximately 1:40 PM, following a report of criminal mischief at the establishment. According to the police, a medium-sized landscaped rock was used to shatter the glass window of a wooden-framed door, resulting in glass fragments scattered within the store.

In addition to this incident, another report of criminal mischief was filed on September 15, 2024. This report detailed a similar break-in attempt, which occurred at around 2:10 AM, involving damage to the store’s property.

The police department has released still photographs of the suspects, urging the public to examine these images closely. Anyone who recognizes the individuals or has pertinent information about the incidents is encouraged to contact Officer Galle via email at cgalle@sccrpd.org or leave a tip on the department’s website.

The authorities emphasize that all information is preliminary and may be updated as new details emerge. It is crucial to remember that a criminal complaint or arrest does not imply guilt, and all parties involved are presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.
