Contractor Arrested for Home Improvement Fraud and Theft: Victim Left Paying Thousands

POTTSTOWN, PA — The North Coventry Township Police Department announced the arrest of 43-year-old Peter Kloufetos for Home Improvement Fraud and Theft by Deception. Kloufetos is the owner of All Inclusive Construction in Gilbertsville, PA.

The criminal complaint alleges that Kloufetos was contacted by the victim through his social media page and, on July 2, 2022, Kloufetos came to the victim’s residence and made a proposal to remodel two second-floor bathrooms. The victim was quoted a price of $60,000.00 for the project and requested they place down a deposit of $30,000.00. On August 3, 2022, Kloufetos started the demolition and placed a large dumpster on the property. He also requested another $15,000.00 be paid for the start of the project. In the coming weeks and months that followed Kloufetos made the homeowner pay out $75,443.53 and the victim still had no work done to complete the master bathroom.

On August 10, 2023, Peter Kloufetos turned himself in on the charges and was arraigned at District Court 15-3-01.  Kloufetos was placed on bail and a preliminary hearing has been set for August 24, 2023.

The investigation is being conducted by Detective Thomas Barton of the North Coventry Township Police Department.
