Captured: Wilmington Man Allegedly Behind Bold Bank Heist!

WILMINGTON, DEDelaware State Police have announced the arrest of Quincy Taylor, a 34-year-old resident of Wilmington, Delaware, in relation to a recent bank robbery incident at a local Fulton Bank. The arrest follows a series of investigative efforts that pinpointed Taylor as a suspect in the November 4, 2024, robbery.

On that day, at approximately 1:38 p.m., authorities were alerted to a robbery at the Fulton Bank located on Foulk Road. Investigations revealed that a male suspect presented a demand note to a bank employee, who complied, allowing the suspect to flee with an undisclosed amount of cash. The escape was made on foot towards Wilson Road.

Detectives utilized various investigative techniques to identify Quincy Taylor as the individual allegedly responsible for the crime. A warrant for his arrest was subsequently issued. On November 8, 2024, Taylor was apprehended by the Elsmere Police Department on New Road, subsequent to an attempted robbery on North Union Street.

Following his arrest, Taylor was taken into custody and transported to the Wilmington Police Department. There, he was formally charged with Robbery in the Second Degree, a felony. After arraignment by Justice of the Peace Court 11, Taylor was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, with bail set at $32,000 cash.

It is important to note that these charges are allegations, and Quincy Taylor is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Authorities continue to stress that a criminal complaint does not equate to a declaration of guilt.
