PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department‘s Central Detective Division is calling on the community for assistance in identifying a suspect captured in recent video footage, following a theft incident at a local restaurant.

On the morning of October 14, 2024, at approximately 11:15 a.m., an individual allegedly stole a wallet from a patron while she was dining at an establishment located on the 1100 block of Spring Garden Street. Subsequent to the theft, the stolen debit card was reportedly used by the suspect.

Authorities describe the suspect as a Black female, with braided or dreadlock hair. At the time of the incident, she was observed wearing a white sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

The police urge anyone who recognizes the individual not to approach her but to contact the authorities by calling 911 immediately.
