Can You Help? Wilmington Police Seek Answers in 2020 Raquan Davis Case

WILMINGTON, DE — Authorities in Wilmington are renewing calls for information regarding the 2020 murder of Raquan Davis as part of an ongoing investigation led by the Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit.

On October 25, 2020, police responded to reports of gunfire in the 2300 block of East 23rd Street at approximately 4:13 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Raquan Davis, who had sustained gunshot wounds. Davis ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

More than four years later, investigators are working to uncover leads in the case and are urging members of the public to come forward with any relevant information. “This investigation remains active, and we believe the public can play a critical role in assisting us,” authorities stated.
