SPRING CITY, PA — Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Rosandra Bailey, 28, of Philadelphia, on multiple charges related to an alleged check fraud scheme. The warrant follows a resident’s report of suspicious activity involving a check written to PennDOT on April 12, 2024.

Spring City Police said the victim identified discrepancies in the check deposit information, which included a different bank account number, name, signature, and an added deposit reason on the back. Investigator Moore conducted searches on both the victim’s and the defendant’s bank accounts, uncovering further evidence.

Bailey was contacted during the investigation but allegedly provided false information. Additional details from the Philadelphia Police Department corroborated the inconsistencies. Based on these findings, authorities charged Bailey with several offenses, including forgery, identity theft, and theft by deception. An arrest warrant was issued on May 14, 2024.

The incident reportedly took place on New Street in Spring City. Police urge anyone with information on Bailey’s whereabouts to contact the Spring City Police Department at 610-948-3456 or submit tips online.

All charges against Bailey are allegations. She is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation remains active, and more details may emerge as the case unfolds.
