Arrest Warrant Issued for 21-Year-Old in Connection with Retail Theft Charges

WEST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, PA — Local authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a 21-year-old man who failed to appear in court on retail theft charges.

The West Whiteland Township Police Department confirmed that the warrant was issued on December 1, 2023, for Jami A. Newton. According to the warrant, Newton is facing one count of retail theft.

The arrest warrant was issued by District Court 15-4-3 under court docket number CR-295-2023 after Newton failed to appear for his scheduled court date. The warrant details allege that Newton did not adhere to the legal mandate to present himself in court to respond to the retail theft charges.

West Whiteland Township Police Department officials are urging anyone with information regarding Newton’s whereabouts to come forward. They also caution the public not to approach or attempt to apprehend Newton themselves but to call the police department immediately.
