Arrest Made in West Chester Burglary: Man Faces Multiple Charges in Connection to Sharpless Street Incident

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department announced the arrest of a 28-year-old West Chester resident in connection to a Burglary that occurred on the 400 block of Sharpless Street last month.

Jacob Best has been charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property, and Criminal Mischief

The criminal complaint alleges that on June 25, 2023, West Chester Police were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Sharpless Street for a burglary discovered.  As a result of the investigation, 28-year-old Jacob Best of West Chester was arrested for Burglary and related charges.

Best was arraigned at Chester County Magisterial District Court 15-1-04 and bail was set at $75,000.00 unsecured. He was processed and released.  A preliminary hearing pending.
