WEST CHESTER, PA — A serious two-vehicle crash is currently under investigation by the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department. The incident occurred on October 16, 2023, around 10:15 a.m. on the 1300 block of Boot Road in East Goshen Township.
Members of the Westtown East Goshen Regional Police Department and the Goshen Fire Company were dispatched to the scene following a report of the crash. Upon arrival, they found that two vehicles had collided, with one driver still trapped inside their vehicle.
With the assistance of the fire company, the trapped driver was extricated from the wreckage. Both drivers involved in the crash were subsequently transported to Paoli Hospital for medical attention. One of the drivers sustained serious injuries, but they are not considered life-threatening.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash was identified as a white Jeep Cherokee. As part of their ongoing investigation, the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is seeking information regarding the sequence of events involving the white Jeep Cherokee prior to the collision.
The police department urges anyone who witnessed the incident or has credible information related to the crash and has not already been contacted by the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department, to reach out.
