PHILADELPHIA, PA — Yoh has announced a significant leadership transition. John Comito will assume the role of President starting January 1, 2025, succeeding longtime President Emmett McGrath, who has been promoted to Co-Chairman.

Comito, currently Senior Vice President of Staffing, brings over 20 years of experience in finance and operations within the staffing industry. He has a deep history with Yoh and its parent company, Day & Zimmermann, where he has held key roles in financial management, strategic planning, and operations.

“This transition marks a pivotal moment in Yoh’s history,” said Hal Yoh, Chair and CEO of Day & Zimmermann. “John’s extensive experience, industry expertise, and long-standing tenure make him the ideal leader to guide Yoh into its next chapter.”

As President, Comito will oversee Yoh’s daily operations and lead the execution of its long-term strategic vision. His recent contributions as Senior Vice President have included overseeing branch operations, sales, recruiting, and acquisition integrations. Earlier in his career, Comito served as Yoh’s Chief Financial Officer, where he managed financial planning, predictive analytics, and operational KPIs. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rowan University.

“I am honored to step into this role and collaborate with such a talented and dedicated team,” Comito said. “I look forward to enhancing our processes, maintaining our standards of excellence, and driving Yoh’s continued growth.”

McGrath, who has been with Yoh in various leadership roles for nearly four decades, has served as President since 2017. Under his leadership, Yoh expanded its core service lines, strengthened its specialty practice areas, and reinforced its position as an industry leader.

“Emmett has shaped Yoh into the leader it is today,” said Hal Yoh. “As Co-Chairman, his strategic insights and focus on key customer relationships will ensure we continue to thrive in the industry.”

In his new role as Co-Chairman, McGrath will focus on key client partnerships, potential acquisition opportunities, and supporting the broader optimization of Yoh’s business. He will also serve as a strategic advisor to Comito during the leadership transition.

“It has been an honor to lead Yoh and contribute to its success,” McGrath said. “I am confident in John’s experience and vision, and I look forward to this next chapter as we continue to build on Yoh’s achievements.”

This leadership transition signals Yoh’s efforts toward strategic growth and operational excellence, positioning the company to remain at the forefront of the talent and workforce solutions industry.
