WILMINGTON, DE — WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: WSFS), the parent company of Bryn Mawr Trust, has announced the strategic hire of Chris Ginder as Senior Vice President, Senior Investment Advisor. The move marks a significant step in enhancing the company’s wealth management services.
Ginder, who will be based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, brings over two decades of experience in financial services to his role. He will provide investment management services to individuals, nonprofit organizations, and pension plans in the Central Pennsylvania region. His responsibilities will include working closely with clients to establish suitable investment strategies, leveraging his extensive expertise in portfolio management, asset allocation, and security selection.
The new hire will report to David Stork, Senior Vice President and Wealth Director at Bryn Mawr Trust. “Chris’s expertise in portfolio management, asset allocation, and security selection will drive our continued success in the Hershey market and throughout our region,” said Stork. His comments underscore the strategic value of this appointment in strengthening the company’s foothold in the regional market.
Before joining Bryn Mawr Trust, Ginder held the position of Director of Manager Research at a private multi-family office. His responsibilities included building model portfolios, overseeing third-party managers, and governing investment methodology. He was also an integral part of the Investment Committee and Private Equity Working Group.
Ginder is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and holds a Chartered Alternative Investments (CAIA®) designation. He is a member of the CFA Institute and CAIA Association. He earned his B.S. in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and currently resides in Lancaster County.
