WILMINGTON, DE — Tiffany Fairley, a 34-year-old resident of Wilmington, Delaware, was arrested by Delaware State Police for an alleged attempted armed robbery that took place last week in Wilmington.
According to the police report, on December 14, 2023, at approximately 4:58 p.m., troopers responded to an attempted armed robbery call at Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 1700 Marsh Road in Wilmington. The initial investigation revealed that a woman, later identified as Tiffany Fairley, allegedly entered the store, brandished a knife, and threatened to stab the baristas if they did not hand over money. When the victims did not comply, Fairley allegedly fled the scene on foot.
Following the investigation, Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Detectives identified Fairley as the suspect and obtained warrants for her arrest. She was located and apprehended on December 21, 2023, on New Castle Avenue in New Castle. Fairley was then taken to Troop 2, where she was charged with Attempted Robbery First Degree and two counts of Aggravated Menacing, both felonies.
Fairley was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $72,000 cash bond.
