Wilmington Police Seek Public’s Help in 2019 Cold Case Murder of Rajion Dinkins

WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is turning to the public for assistance as they continue to investigate the 2019 murder of 19-year-old Rajion Dinkins, a case that has remained unsolved for over four years.

On the afternoon of November 25, 2019, police were called to the 2300 block of North Washington Street following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds, Dinkins among them. Both victims were rushed to the hospital, but tragically, Dinkins later succumbed to his injuries.

Despite the passage of time, the investigation into Dinkins’ death remains active and ongoing. The authorities are now making a renewed appeal to the public, hoping that anyone with relevant information will come forward to aid in their quest for justice.
