Wilmington Police Seek Public Assistance in 2021 Cold Case of Tyrell Lewis

WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in relation to the 2021 murder case of Tyrell Lewis.

On September 26, 2021, at around 10:17 p.m., police were called to the scene of a shooting incident on the 2200 block of North Spruce Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 40-year-old Tyrell Lewis of Newark, who had been shot and had succumbed to his injuries.

Despite ongoing investigations, the case remains unsolved and investigators are reaching out to the public for assistance. They believe that someone may have valuable information that could help bring closure to this case.
