WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are actively investigating a shooting incident that took place on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. The incident occurred at approximately 9:19 a.m. in the 1200 block of West 3rd Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, police found a 39-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to the hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Detective Kevin Murphy of the Wilmington Police Department is leading the investigation into this case. While the details surrounding the shooting remain limited, authorities are working to uncover more information.
