Wilmington Police Investigate Morning Shooting on East 9th Street

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred early Wednesday morning on East 9th Street.

The incident happened at approximately 7:55 a.m. in the 500 block of East 9th Street. On arrival, police found a 20-year-old male who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victim was quickly transported to the hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

The investigation into this shooting is currently ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
