WILMINGTON, DE — A man has been arrested on drug charges in Wilmington, according to local police.
On January 30, at around 11:57 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were conducting surveillance on the 1200 block of Conrad Street. They reported observing a male allegedly engaged in drug-related activity.
The individual, identified as 28-year-old Dejuan Robinson, was subsequently approached by officers and taken into custody without incident. A brief investigation led to the recovery of .273 grams of fentanyl and 45.5 grams of marijuana, according to the police report.
Robinson has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $10,000 cash-only bail.
As with all criminal cases, information can change as further details emerge. An arrest or a criminal complaint is not a declaration of guilt. All suspects, including Robinson, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Further updates will be provided as additional details become available.
