Wilmington Man Arrested for Early Morning Burglary, Held on $4,000 Bail

WILMINGTON, DE โ€” In a successful response to a burglary in progress, members of the Uniformed Services Division of the Wilmington Police Department apprehended 31-year-old Sean Keel on November 9th. The incident occurred around 7:19 a.m. in the 400 block of East 4th Street.

According to the criminal complaint, upon arriving at the scene, officers spotted an individual matching the suspectโ€™s description leaving the area. Keel was subsequently taken into custody without incident. A search revealed that he was in possession of items linked to the alleged burglary.

Keel has been charged with several offenses, including third-degree burglary, possession of burglar tools, theft under $1,500, and criminal mischief over $1,000. Following his arraignment in Justice of the Peace Court 20, Keel was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $4,000 unsecured bail.
