WILMINGTON, DE — In a successful response to a burglary in progress, members of the Uniformed Services Division of the Wilmington Police Department apprehended 31-year-old Sean Keel on November 9th. The incident occurred around 7:19 a.m. in the 400 block of East 4th Street.
According to the criminal complaint, upon arriving at the scene, officers spotted an individual matching the suspect’s description leaving the area. Keel was subsequently taken into custody without incident. A search revealed that he was in possession of items linked to the alleged burglary.
Keel has been charged with several offenses, including third-degree burglary, possession of burglar tools, theft under $1,500, and criminal mischief over $1,000. Following his arraignment in Justice of the Peace Court 20, Keel was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $4,000 unsecured bail.
