LAMPETER, PA — On Wednesday, June 12, the West Lampeter Police Department invites the community to a night of delicious food, lively music, and great fun at Funck’s Restaurant in Leola. From 4 PM to 9 PM, local law enforcement officers will trade their badges for aprons to serve tables, all in support of a noble cause.
The event promises an enjoyable evening as members of the Lancaster County Law Enforcement community, including officers, troopers, and sheriffs, wait on patrons. While the food and music are sure to delight, the real highlight is that all tips collected during the evening will fund the Lancaster County Special Olympians’ trip to State College for the upcoming PA State Special Olympics Games.
This unique fundraiser offers a chance to interact with local law enforcement in a fun, relaxed environment while supporting a meaningful cause. It’s an opportunity to enjoy a meal, experience live music, and contribute to the dreams of Special Olympians.
The West Lampeter Police Department assures attendees that, while the service might be different from what they’re used to, the heart behind it is genuine. “We’re confident you’ll love the food, enjoy the music, and be moderately satisfied with the service our officers, troopers, and sheriffs will provide!!” said a department representative with a smile.
Join the West Lampeter Police Department on June 12 for an evening of community spirit and generosity. Every tip helps make a difference in the lives of these athletes. Don’t miss this chance to dine out for a great cause and show your support for our local Special Olympians.
