WARRINGTON, PA — An employee of Home Depot in Warrington, Pennsylvania, has been arrested following allegations of multiple thefts, according to a statement from the Warrington Township Police Department.
Justin Goodman, a 40-year-old resident of Warrington, is alleged to have stolen merchandise on six separate occasions from his place of employment, the Home Depot at 650 Easton Road. The thefts reportedly took place between June 4, 2023, and August 10, 2023, with the total value of the stolen goods amounting to $637.48.
The police were alerted to the situation on January 4, 2024, around 5:23 P.M., when they received a report of employee theft from the store’s loss prevention team. Upon arrival at the scene, officers were informed of Goodman’s alleged actions, leading to his subsequent arrest.
Following his arrest, Goodman was transported to the station where he was processed and later released. A criminal complaint has since been filed at the District Court. The charges against Goodman include one count of retail theft and one count of receiving stolen property.
However, as the legal proceedings unfold, it is crucial to bear in mind that these are merely allegations. An arrest, a criminal complaint, or any discussion thereof does not constitute a declaration of guilt. All defendants, including Goodman, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
