Villanova University Welcomes Trio of New Trustees, Bolstering Board with Diverse Expertise

VILLANOVA, PA — Villanova University begins the new year with a strengthened leadership team, announcing the appointment of three new members to its Board of Trustees. With the appointments effective from Jan. 1, Enrico S. Gaglioti, Arthur Metzler, and Kate K. Waters bring a wealth of diverse experience and expertise to the board.

Enrico S. Gaglioti, Co-President of FS Investments in Philadelphia, is known for his impressive career spanning over three decades in the financial services industry. Before joining FS Investments, Gaglioti held senior leadership positions at Goldman Sachs and co-founded Chiron Investment Management, LLC. His experience extends to educational governance, serving as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Don Bosco Prep High School and as a board member at the James Madison University Foundation. A Villanova parent himself, Gaglioti was previously a member of the Provost Board.

Arthur Metzler, a Villanova alumnus, brings an entrepreneurial spirit to the board. As the Founder and CEO of AMA Group, Metzler heads a prominent engineering, construction management, and manufacturing company. The firm has made its mark in developing high-tech media, production, and sound stage facilities for a host of renowned clients. A mechanical engineering graduate from Villanova and a law graduate from New York Law School, Metzler has previously served on several Villanova College of Engineering Advisory Councils.

Kate K. Waters, another Villanova alumna, is a Senior Partner, Executive Director, and Financial Advisor at the BTW Group within Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division. Her leadership extends beyond her client work, having co-chaired Morgan Stanley’s National Financial Advisor Advisory Council and co-founded LIFT, Morgan Stanley’s Women’s Business Development Council. Waters brings a strong commitment to women’s leadership, having served on the Advisory Council for Villanova’s McNulty Institute for Women’s Leadership.

The appointment of these three accomplished professionals marks a significant enhancement to the Board of Trustees. Their collective expertise in finance, engineering, entrepreneurship, and leadership will undoubtedly contribute to the strategic direction of Villanova University.
