LANCASTER, PA — Veritas Press is partnering with eight states to provide families access to Educational Savings Accounts (ESAs) and School Choice funds. The edtech company aims to democratize education by enabling parents to use these funds for its educational programs.
Currently, families residing in Arizona, Florida, Idaho, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Virginia, and West Virginia can tap into ESAs and School Choice funds to pay for Veritas’ offerings. In addition, expansion efforts are underway in Iowa, Missouri, and Utah, with more states expected to join the list.
ESAs are state-authorized, publicly funded savings accounts that allow parents to allocate tax-free funds toward various educational expenses. These can include school tuition, tutoring services, online education programs, and instructional materials. Each state runs its unique ESA program, and Veritas is currently an approved partner in the above eight states.
The School Choice program, on the other hand, enables state education funds to “follow” students to their chosen learning environments. This could be public schools, private schools, charter schools, homeschooling, or other preferred setups. Veritas Press is participating in these programs across the eight states listed.
Dr. Bob Cannon, Veritas Scholars Academy Headmaster, praised the initiative, saying, “Access to ESA and School Choice funds empowers parents to make the right educational choices for their students. Veritas is committed to facilitating this process in as many states as possible.”
Veritas Press‘s expansion of these programs signals a significant leap towards more flexible and personalized education. The company continues to work towards making ESAs and School Choice funds more accessible to families seeking a classical Christian education. The ultimate goal is to ensure every child has the resources they need to thrive acadically, regardless of their geographical location or socio-economic status.
