CHELTENHAM TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the continuation of utility construction on Route 73 (Church Road) as part of a $10.8 million project aimed at enhancing traffic flow and safety at key intersections in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County.

Starting Monday, February 3, Route 73 will be closed on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM between Easton Road and Washington Lane. The closure will remain in effect through Friday, May 30. During this period, motorists will need to follow a detour using Easton Road, Route 309 (Ogontz Avenue/Cheltenham Avenue), and Washington Lane.

Drivers traveling in the area should anticipate delays and allow extra time to reach their destinations. All work schedules are dependent on weather conditions.
