The event will take place on January 30, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the USPS Vehicle Maintenance Facility, located at 3201 South 74th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19153.
The job fair is part of the USPS’s workforce expansion under its “Delivering for America Plan,” aimed at fortifying operations and enhancing services nationwide. Positions available include auto technicians and lead auto technicians, offering competitive hourly wages of over $30 and $33, respectively. Applicants will have access to on-site services, including applications, interviews, and fingerprinting.
“Under our Delivering for America Plan, the Postal Service continues to strengthen its workforce,” stated USPS spokesman Paul F. Smith, highlighting the value applicants will find in joining one of America’s most trusted institutions.
USPS representatives will be present to provide detailed information about job responsibilities and application procedures. To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old, pass a drug screening, and undergo a background check.
The rescheduled event aims to attract a diverse pool of talented individuals to support the Postal Service’s mission of delivering essential mail and packages to communities across the country.
