LANCASTER, PA — A seemingly ordinary shopping trip took an unpleasant turn at a Target department store in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, when a male customer allegedly assaulted a female employee. The incident occurred at approximately 9:55 am on December 10, 2023, at the Target located at 2385 Covered Bridge Drive.
According to the East Lampeter Township Police Department, the male suspect entered the store with a female companion, who appears to be uninvolved in the incident. After separating inside the store, the man allegedly approached a female employee working in the apparel section and slapped her on the buttocks. He reportedly walked away, turned around, and laughed at the employee before rejoining his companion and exiting the store.
The couple was seen leaving in what appears to be a black Honda Pilot. Notably, the male suspect is believed to be wearing a station jacket from a fire department, as per surveillance photos.
