Unisys Announces Leadership Transition and Participation in Investor Conference

Unisys Corporation

BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) has announced its participation in the upcoming Needham Growth Conference, alongside plans for a significant leadership shift set for 2025.

Unisys President and Chief Operating Officer Mike Thomson will represent the company at the conference in New York City on January 14, 2025. Thomson will deliver an in-person presentation and host meetings with investors, while other executives will hold virtual investor sessions on January 16-17, 2025.

During the event, Thomson is expected to outline the company’s long-term strategy and provide details on an upcoming leadership change. Effective April 1, 2025, Thomson, 56, will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Peter Altabef, who has led the company since 2015. Altabef, 65, will continue serving as Chair of the Unisys Board of Directors.

This planned transition aims to sustain the momentum behind the company’s strategic goals, which include driving growth, boosting profitability, and enhancing cash generation.

Thomson’s presentation at the conference will provide insight into how the leadership change supports these efforts. Both in-person and virtual meetings during the conference will give investors an opportunity to engage directly with Unisys executives and gain a deeper understanding of its direction under the new leadership.

Unisys has emphasized the importance of ensuring continuity as it moves forward, with Thomson set to build on Altabef’s tenure as the company’s longest-serving CEO. For investors, this shift represents a continuation of the focused execution of Unisys’ objectives in a competitive market.

Meetings with Unisys executives can be scheduled through conference representatives, and a live webcast of Thomson’s presentation will be made available for additional viewing. For further details, investors are encouraged to visit the Unisys Investor Relations page.
