U.S. 202 Resurfacing Alert: Prepare for Traffic Disruptions

Lane restrictions

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a resurfacing project on U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) in Delaware County.

From Wednesday, September 11, through Friday, September 13, alternating lane closures will be in effect from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM. This work will take place between the Delaware State line and U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in Concord and Chadds Ford townships.

Motorists are encouraged to plan for potential delays and allocate additional travel time in the affected areas. The project aims to enhance road safety and improve driving conditions with new asphalt pavement. All activities are contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
