LANCASTER, PA — The East Lampeter Township Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three individuals suspected in an alleged shoplifting incident at the Tanger Outlets complex on Lincoln Highway East.

On January 11, 2024, at approximately 5:30 PM, a man and two women are alleged to have orchestrated a theft from the Cosmetics Company store. The police department has released surveillance images of the suspects, urging anyone with information to come forward.

According to the authorities, the male suspect initially entered the store and engaged an employee towards the rear of the premises, allegedly posing questions as a distraction. Shortly after, the two female suspects entered the store together.

While the employee was distracted, the women are alleged to have concealed a large number of items near the front of the store. All three individuals then purportedly exited the store together, making off with merchandise estimated to be worth over $3,300.

The East Lampeter Township Police Department is now appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspects. Anyone who recognizes the individuals in the surveillance photos or has any information related to the incident is encouraged to contact the police department directly at 717-291-4676 or via the Crimewatch website.

As this investigation continues, it is important to remember that these individuals are suspects, and the allegations against them are not proof of guilt. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
